The Tale of Three Legs

Miracle a 2 week old female Pomeranian mixed presented to the clinic with her forearm completely severed and the bone in her arm ( humerus) partially exposed and infected.

After evaluating this puppy, her vitals were extremly weak and clearly the ensuing infection and pain would definitely compromise her survival.

Amputation at this point was the only hope for this 2 week pup despite the dangers. With the help of my awesome staff at the clinic we went forth with the surgery and the following pictures will relate the rest of this wonderful story.
